The Gibbs High School Foundation provides scholarships for students to further their expertise in their field of interest. CTE Scholarship
At Gibbs High School Foundation, we recognize that Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs do not always receive the same level of scholarship opportunities as university pursuits. This is why our foundation prioritizes providing support by contributing towards tools and supplies necessary for their chosen career paths. By equipping these students with the resources they need to succeed, we aim to help bridge the gap and empower them to achieve their goals without financial limitations.
Governors School Scholarship
Unlike most other governor's school subjects, the arts program is not free, adding a significant financial burden on the selected students. We acknowledge that being chosen to participate in the Tennessee Governor's School for the Arts is a prestigious honor, and we aim to alleviate some of the financial strains associated with it. This allows the student to focus on governor’s school, and to alleviate some of the financial burden for them and their parents.
Teacher Grants
The Foundation awards teacher grants to educators within the school who have identified a specific item or resource that will significantly enhance the education of their students. These grants are aimed at supporting teachers in their efforts to provide high-quality learning experiences and ensure student success. By fulfilling specific needs identified by educators, we seek to empower teachers and improve the overall educational environment.
